As a forgetful beginner genealogist this blog is a storehouse for what has been done (or not) and what is found (or not) before the stories are shaped and the ancestral tree is expanded.

As I work towards some kind of coherent process to research and record I need a visible spot to store the tools and virtual storecupboards I pop things into. It may be of use to others as this cupboard fills up but you might have to dig amongst the gravel for the diamond!
